Age Verification Policy
RI.WINE sells alcohol. Every visitor, every order, and every handoff is age-checked. This page explains exactly how.
Entering this site
You are asked to confirm you are 21 or over before you can browse.
Placing an order
Checkout is restricted to customers 21 and over. Orders we believe are being placed for someone underage will be cancelled and refunded in full.
Picking up in store
Bring valid, unexpired, government-issued photo ID. We accept:
- A US or foreign driver's license
- A state-issued identification card
- A US passport or passport card
- A US military identification card
We cannot accept photocopies, a photograph of an ID, or an expired document. It isn't personal, and there are no exceptions.
Receiving a delivery
Someone 21 or over must be there to receive the order and show ID. Our driver checks it at the door every time, even if we have delivered to you before.
If nobody is home, if ID cannot be produced, or if the person receiving the order appears intoxicated, the driver takes the order back to the store and we contact you to arrange another time. We never leave alcohol on a doorstep, in a mailbox, with a neighbor, or with a building concierge.
Someone else collecting for you
You cannot send a friend, a rideshare driver, or a courier to collect on your behalf. Whoever receives the order must be 21 or over and must show their own ID.
Refusing service
We reserve the right to refuse any sale, in the store or at the door, at our discretion.
